Danceathon at Stanford infant school

Holly was invited to lead dance sessions to all year groups at Stanford infant school in July as part of their fundraising efforts for UNICEF.

For over 75 years UNICEF has worked tirelessly to to ensure that as many children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. In particular they have been working to support children and their families who have been displaced by the war in Gaza and Ukraine.

Children from Reception to Year 2 in all classes got to take part as a whole school effort to learn a dance and work together to create ideas around safety, friendship and togetherness.

The children also go to take part in an assembly were they learned about what UNICEF does and why building awareness and fundraising is so important to support them.

Holly had a great time working with all children, teachers and support staff that joined in and was impressed by the schools enthusiasm and energy when dancing!
